Héctor Parra Talks About Life in Prison

Actor Héctor Parra sent a message from prison in a video shared by his daughter Daniela Parra, assuring that he is not suffering or in a critical situation. Parra, known for his participation in the soap opera "Cómplíces al rescate," has been at Reclusorio Oriente since 2021, after being arrested and accused of child abuse against his daughter Alexa Hoffman.

In the message, Parra expressed his gratitude to his supporters and detailed that he receives emotional and material support, even sharing food with other inmates. He noted that, despite the difficulties, he remains strong thanks to the support he receives from various people.

The actor mentioned in the video that he has filed an amparo due to the irregularities he claims exist in his case, affecting his right to the presumption of innocence. Parra expressed hope that justice will be served in federal courts and that the flaws he believes have occurred in the legal process will be corrected.

Parra also expressed his fear of leaving prison, holding the people involved in his arrest responsible for any event that endangers his integrity and that of his loved ones. He emphasized that, if he suffers any harm, he will hold those he considers responsible for his current situation accountable.

Héctor Parra's sentence was modified in April 2024, reducing his sentence from more than 13 years and 10 months to 12 years and 6 months in prison. The crimes he was convicted of include aggravated corruption of minors and sexual abuse against a minor.
