
The head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, referred to the importance of the elections to choose judges and magistrates this year in the country, considering them an opportunity to combat corruption in the judiciary. She avoided commenting on the extradition of 29 Mexican criminals to the United States, but took the opportunity to criticize the Judicial Power again.
Regarding the release of the wife of "El Mencho," leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, Sheinbaum expressed her discontent with corruption in the judiciary. Rosalinda González Valencia was released for good behavior, according to the control judge who made the decision.
