President Claudia Sheinbaum assured that her government has established plans for any eventuality that may arise regarding decisions made by the United States on security and trade issues. During her morning conference, she emphasized the importance of calm, patience, and unity in Mexico in the face of such situations. She highlighted that there is a defined plan and active coordination in both the security and commercial fields between the two nations.

In her statements, Sheinbaum mentioned: "The meeting took place in the United States, they have been good in that instance, with constant communication in different areas. There is a plan and a union in Mexico, which strengthens us a lot." The president anticipated that more information would be offered soon and reiterated that the final decision on this matter rests with the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

Sheinbaum emphasized that, regardless of the resolution made, her administration will make decisions accordingly. "Regardless of what the decision is, we will also make our own determinations," she assured. The president stressed that although there has been close coordination with the United States government, the final word will rest with the neighboring nation regarding this matter.
