According to reports, at around 10:00 AM, a group of hitmen attacked the Navy personnel in the vicinity of El Arenoso, at the ranch "Las Misiones," while they were conducting patrol duties. After the attack, the assailants fled, leaving behind a red pickup truck with license plates UX-6515-A.
So far, the authorities have not provided details to confirm or deny what happened in Caborca. More information is expected to be released in the coming hours.
According to reports, one of the Semar members was transferred to a hospital in Hermosillo due to the severity of his injuries. Although there were mentions of seizures related to organized crime, no information has been provided regarding the arrest of suspects.
The three injured marines were in serious condition at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Caborca, and they were expected to be transferred by helicopter to another clinic for specialized medical attention.
