Communicator and friend of Imelda Tuñón, Javier Ceriani and Nagibe Abbud, respectively, spoke about the case of Maribel Guardia's daughter-in-law during a live broadcast. Abbud emphasized that the evidence presented is real, legal, and legitimate, in addition to stressing the importance of trusting the legal system until proven otherwise.
Regarding the judge's decision in the case, Abbud expressed her disagreement and questioned whether the judge was fully aware of all the evidence before issuing her ruling. Ceriani supported these claims, mentioning the indignation of Julián Figueroa's friends over the accusations, and concluded by accusing Tuñón of defamation and falsification of evidence.
Ceriani also referred to Tuñón as a "serial denier" and mentioned that she knows the evidence presented is true. The controversy arose amid the legal dispute over the custody of José Julián. The court determined that Tuñón will be responsible for the child she shares with Julián Figueroa, which she celebrated on social media with an image of them holding hands, highlighting that "today love won, today justice won."
