Dora Camarena, mother of Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, sent a letter of thanks to the DEA agents for their dedication and effort in bringing justice after the tragic death of her son at the hands of Rafael Caro Quintero in Mexico. In the letter, she expressed her appreciation for the support given to her family and asked that they never forget Kiki.

In her words, Dora shared her gratitude for the joint work that her son did with the DEA agents, highlighting their commitment and dedication to their work. She remembered Kiki's bravery, who lost his life fulfilling his duty as a drug agent, which motivated the creation of a special unit within the DEA.
