Omar García Harfuch announced the arrest of Leonel 'N', one of the 10 most wanted criminals in Chihuahua and Texas. Authorities acted on intelligence leading to the capture in Los Ángeles, Durango, where he coordinated drug trafficking. The operation also resulted in the arrests of two accomplices.

The Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of Mexico, Omar García Harfuch, announced the capture of two men and one woman, one of whom turned out to be Leonel 'N', included in the list of the 10 most dangerous criminals in Chihuahua and Texas, in the border area.

The operation carried out in the town of Los Ángeles, Durango, was conducted by elements of the Secretary of the Navy (Semar), the Secretary of National Defense (Defensa), and the National Guard (GN), in bilateral coordination with the United States. This place was known for being a point of criminal activities crossing the border.

Leonel 'N' was wanted for drug and human trafficking crimes, focusing his criminal operations in the municipality of Poanas, Durango. He had an arrest warrant for aggravated kidnapping and was linked to a criminal group operating in the north of the country, dedicated to drug trafficking and human smuggling in the Juárez Valley, Chihuahua.

Authorities managed to capture Leonel 'N' while he was driving, detaining him after intervening in his route. During a security inspection, drugs and a firearm were found in his possession, which led to the detention of Leonel 'N', Tereso 'N', and Alicia 'N'.

Regarding the detained woman, Alicia 'N', authorities confirmed that she was in charge of coordinating drug sales at the border.
