These public consultation efforts reflect the commitment of the State Government to listen to the citizens to improve and maintain high standards of transparency in Jalisco. Miguel Ángel Esquivias Esquivias, Mayor of Tepatitlán de Morelos, reiterated the commitment of the municipalities in the Altos Norte and Altos Sur regions to strengthen legislation and rights of access to information and personal data protection in Jalisco.
The Government of Jalisco held the first "Regional Forum on Co-creation Dialogues: Towards the Construction of the Transparency Reform" in the Altos Norte and Altos Sur regions. The objective was to analyze and receive proposals on the topic "Municipal Transparency: Challenges and Scope in Light of the New Legislation."
In this regional forum, Cynthia Cantero Pacheco called for participation in the co-creation exercise. She emphasized the importance of different sectors working together to ensure that decisions are guided by honesty and integrity.
The Co-creation Dialogues take place in working groups with the participation of specialists, a moderator, and a rapporteur, in order to strengthen access to information and accountability.
