
A national survey conducted via telephone with 500 adult Mexicans from March 4 to 9, 2025, revealed that 26% of respondents provided an incomplete date for the judicial elections, while 62% responded that they did not know when those elections would take place. Regarding opinions on the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, 49% of the surveyed population expressed a positive opinion, while 49% had a negative opinion.
Among the preferences of the interviewed women for the presidency of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, Yasmín Esquivel leads with 18%, followed by Lenia Batres and Paula García Villegas Sánchez Cordero. On the other hand, among the interviewed men, Lenia Batres obtained 15% preference, closely followed by Yasmín Esquivel with 14% and Paula García with 13%.
The survey also shows favorable opinions of the interviewees towards the candidates. Yasmín Esquivel has a favorable opinion of 26%, Lenia Batres has 22%, and García Villegas has 21%; while Loretta Ortiz, Ana María Ibarra, Marisela Morales, and Zulema Mosri receive lower percentages.
On the other hand, the survey revealed that only 12% of the respondents knew the date of the judicial elections, which would take place on the first Sunday of June. Additionally, it was found that the population's interest in this topic is low, with 43% of people considering themselves very or somewhat informed and 56% showing little or no interest.
Minister Yasmín Esquivel leads the race among the candidates for the presidency of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, with the support of 15% of the population. She is followed by Lenia Batres with 12% and Paula García Villegas Sánchez Cordero with 11%. The study was conducted through a probabilistic sampling of residential and cell phones in the 32 federal entities, with a margin of error of +/-4.4% and a confidence level of 95%.
