Over the years, he has been linked to money laundering cases and the purchase of offshore companies to carry out multimillion-dollar financial operations.
One of the most notorious controversies was the extortion accusation by his ex-partner, Venezuelan model Ninoska Vásquez, who accused him of fabricating a false human trafficking case as revenge for the breakup of their relationship. Even Michell Roxana, sister of businesswoman Aleska Génesis, claimed she had received threats from Rodríguez Borgio.
Recently, after the detention of Aleska Génesis, Michell Roxana held Rodríguez Borgio responsible for being behind the incident, stating that he would have planned everything. Despite the accusations against him, the businessman has not publicly commented on these controversies.
