In 2021, she was accused of tax fraud for selling a property seized by the SAT, which led her to be linked to a process for being a disloyal depositary. Despite preventive detention being ordered against her, she managed to avoid arrest by paying a bail of 2.6 million pesos. Another legal conflict arose when she was sued by Gabriel Soto and Irina Baeva for defamation, threats, and discrimination due to comments made on a television program.
Bozzo lost the case for failing to appear at the hearing. However, she has offered legal support and advice to Aleska Génesis, who was detained over robbery accusations after leaving La Casa de los Famosos All Stars. Upon receiving the news, Laura Bozzo expressed solidarity with Aleska, comparing her situation to the legal problems she herself faced in the past and offering her legal help.
Aleska Génesis was the fifth eliminated from La Casa de los Famosos and was arrested upon leaving the house, which motivated Bozzo to send her a message of support. In her statements, Bozzo mentioned the importance of proving innocence in countries where guilt is presumed first.
