The national leader of Movimiento Ciudadano, Jorge Álvarez Maýnez, criticized the PRI for its response to recent findings in Jalisco. While the PRI senator Alito Moreno questioned state authorities about the macabre discovery, Álvarez Maýnez defended his government's management in Jalisco, stating that they are "facing" the situation.

In a property in Teuchitlán, the group Guerreros Buscadores de Jalisco found clandestine crematories, graves, and human remains. In response, the Attorney General's Office announced an investigation, considering it not credible that local authorities were unaware of the location.

Former governor Enrique Alfaro was pointed out by some political figures as presumably responsible for what happened in Jalisco. Meanwhile, Alfaro is in Europe studying football in the Netherlands and showing his support for Chivas on social media.

Regarding this, Maýnez expressed on social media his discontent with Moreno's and other politicians' attitude, accusing them of complicity with organized crime and staging a "pure show" instead of addressing the serious situation in Jalisco.
