
The governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, expressed that the crisis of disappearances in Mexico must be the priority of all governments. He called on the State Human Rights Commission and the National Search Commission to collaborate with federal and state authorities in the investigation that is being carried out at the ranch located in Teuchitlán.
President Claudia Sheinbaum announced the involvement of the Attorney General's Office (FGR) in the case in Teuchitlán to conduct a coordinated investigation and determine the corresponding responsibilities in this case. Sheinbaum emphasized the importance of investigating these events to clarify what happened.
For his part, Governor Pablo Lemus confirmed that the FGR will take charge of the investigation of the extermination field in Teuchitlán, linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. Lemus expressed his willingness to cooperate with federal authorities to clarify what occurred at Rancho Izaguirre and determine responsibilities.
The Jalisco Attorney's Office revealed a list of objects found at Rancho Izaguirre, where six bone lots were detected. This property was discovered by the National Guard in September 2024, resulting in the detention of several individuals, some of whom are being prosecuted. The attorney's office continues the investigations at the site.
In a separate incident, the Tamaulipas Attorney's Office ruled out the existence of a torture camp or clandestine crematorium in Reynosa following an operation carried out on March 10. Although bone remains were found in some areas, these findings were not related to illicit cremation activities. Operations conducted in coordination with search collectives continue in the region.
