Clandestine Ovens Found in Teuchitlán

The Guerrero Searchers of Jalisco made a discovery at the Izaguirre ranch in Teuchitlán where they located three clandestine ovens. This information contradicts the statement from the Jalisco State Prosecutor's Office, which initially denied the existence of those ovens after a recount of the registered evidence. Although no structures functioning as ovens were found, rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, warehouses, and areas for tactical training and physical conditioning were discovered at the site.

Indira Navarro, leader of the collective, explained that the previously discovered ovens were inactive. She clarified that they were not operational and that the remains found were between two and two and a half years old. Navarro mentioned the possibility of finding complete bodies in the area despite the conditions in which the remains were found.

The discovery of these ovens was made possible thanks to anonymous information provided by people who were at the site. Excavations were conducted in a location indicated by the ground-penetrating radar, but the results were negative, which does not rule out the need for a direct search.

So far, about 90 pairs of boots and other clothing items have been recovered and classified in the area. These items will be uploaded to an official platform for families to identify. Navarro emphasized the importance of continuing work in the area and indicated that efforts will continue in the designated quadrants.

In a meeting with the Search Commission and other authorities, it was agreed to continue operations at a new site where the clandestine ovens were located at the Izaguirre ranch in Teuchitlán. The indicated quadrants will be the points where search efforts will be focused.
