Ceci Flores Responds to Sheinbaum on Teuchitlán Case

Ceci Flores Armenta, who leads the collective Madres Buscadoras de Sonora, issued a response to President Claudia Sheinbaum regarding her statements about the Teuchitlán case in Jalisco, where hundreds of shoes, clothing items, and a possible extermination site were found at the Izaguirre ranch. Sheinbaum requested to wait for more details about the case and questioned the criticisms directed at President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

In her words, the president referred to the criticisms that both her government and the previous one have received regarding the enforced disappearance of people, the forensic crisis, armed violence, and crime in Mexico.

Regarding the events in Teuchitlán, where the collective Guerreros Buscadores de Jalisco discovered evidence of a possible recruitment and extermination site at the Izaguirre ranch last week, Ceci Flores responded by emphasizing that the only people affected are the missing individuals.

In a statement directed to Sheinbaum, Ceci Flores expressed: "Don't be mistaken; the only ones who were hit in Teuchitlán were our children, who were also turned to ashes so that no one else could embrace them again. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the pain of an entire country."
