The Autonomous University of Querétaro and the municipality of Corregidora have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of developing projects and academic activities in the region. Among the initiatives they have worked on so far is the integration of UAQ students in educational scholarship programs and the consolidation of the Charco Blanco campus, which aims to become a benchmark for higher education in the area.
The rector of the University, Silvia Amaya Llano, highlighted the importance of this agreement for the institution and its community, mentioning that partnerships contribute to the progress of university spaces and the development of students in the region. In addition, she thanked the support provided in various aspects and the trust placed in the University, stating: "We know that there is that commitment, that there is that love for the university, and all that is left is to express gratitude because in any of the events where we have had a need, there has always been a positive response."
For his part, the municipal president, Josué David Guerrero Trápala, emphasized the fundamental role of the Autonomous University of Querétaro in the training of generations of talented young people who contribute to society, transcending the limits of the entity. In this regard, he stated: "It is not just the signing of a document; it is a real commitment to our young people, to their dreams, and to their growth."
