Collaboration for Truth in Teuchitlán Case

President Claudia Sheinbaum and the governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, have agreed that the state and federal prosecutors will jointly review the investigations regarding the case of the training camp in Teuchitlán, Jalisco. Both expressed their willingness to collaborate closely to clarify the facts.

In a meeting of the Security Cabinet at the National Palace, it was decided that the investigative authorities will work together on the case of the Izaguirre ranch, where three crematories containing charred bone remains were found by mothers' search collectives in Jalisco. Sheinbaum emphasized the importance of collaboration between different levels of government and society to effectively combat insecurity.

However, the collective Guerreros Buscadores de Jalisco, responsible for the discovery in Teuchitlán, expressed their dissatisfaction at being excluded from the investigation process carried out by the Attorney General's Office. They believe their rights as victims are being violated and have requested the intervention of the National Human Rights Commission to ensure their participation in the proceedings.

In a video posted on social media, Governor Lemus emphasized the importance of telling the truth about the events in Teuchitlán and took responsibility for working together with federal authorities to clarify the facts. It is expected that the collaboration between state and federal prosecutors will yield satisfactory results in the search for the truth in this case.
