At the home of Miguel "N", during a search, authorities found skeletal remains, tools, and personal items presumably linked to other missing women. It was estimated that the accused could be related to at least seven femicides and one attempt, covering events that occurred between 2012 and 2024.

The death of Miguel "N" coincided with the day a hearing was to be held for his arraignment in two of the cases against him. Regarding the death, the lawyer stated: "The fact that he has died is merely a delay in the administration of justice. The victims wanted each to have a conviction in their name, a scenario like this only means that there was no justice."

It has been reported that the lawyer met with the prison director and investigations were opened to determine the cause of death, considering whether any public servant or guard could have been involved. It was also mentioned that the indirect victims would seek comprehensive restitution.

Miguel "N" was arrested in an apartment in La Cruz Coyuya neighborhood after being caught while committing an assault. Three days before his death, he contacted relatives of his possible victims to mock them, declaring that he did not regret his actions.

The lawyer expressed that prompt and expedited justice does not exist, emphasizing that the proceedings were suspended after the transfer of Miguel "N" to the hospital. At that health center, he was declared without vital signs, with a possible cardiorespiratory arrest as the cause of death, as detailed by the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City.
