Federal and state authorities carried out an operation during which they secured two vehicles, a linked belt with 57 .50 caliber cartridges, and 88 tire puncturers.
During the operation, the vehicles located in the area were discovered, and upon inspection, the belt with cartridges and the tire puncturers was found.
In this regard, a spokesperson for the authorities commented: "We are committed to combating crime and arms trafficking in our country. These types of findings are the result of coordinated work among the different security agencies."
Investigations are ongoing to determine the origin of the vehicles, as well as the intended destination and use of the seized weapons.
