In another context, the candidate for the mayoralty of Monclova, Alfredo Paredes, reported that his opponent, Héctor Horacio Dávila, had allegedly exceeded campaign spending limits. According to Paredes, Dávila has not submitted his electoral expense report, which may result in sanctions by the electoral authorities.
Finally, the gubernatorial candidate for Sonora, Ernesto Gándara, reported that he has met the deadline set by the INE to submit his appeal against the precautionary measures imposed at the beginning of his campaign. Gándara expressed that he is awaiting the resolution from the electoral authorities so that he can continue his participation in the electoral process.
