The famous TV Azteca host, Daniel Bisogno, passed away on February 20 after a long battle with cirrhosis. However, after his death, it was discovered that he did not leave a legal will, which has sparked a dispute between the family and his ex-wife.
"If they really knew what is behind all this mess that Dani left, many would be left with nothing to fight for — some 'things' they already have and others they have already collected — Pati has been very prudent," mentioned journalist Laura Estrada in a post that ignited the controversy over Bisogno's inheritance.
During his life, Bisogno had expressed that his daughter Michaela would be the universal heir. Despite this, speculation about the fate of his assets continues. Some rumors suggest that the family has taken possession of certain assets of the host, although Alex B, Daniel's brother, has claimed part of the inheritance arguing his contribution to the hospital expenses.
After Daniel's death, Pati Chapoy, a colleague and close friend, demanded respect for what belongs to the host's daughter, generating more tension around the inheritance dispute. Despite Alex B's statements and Laura Estrada's assumptions, uncertainty about the distribution of Bisogno's assets persists.
In recent times, Bisogno had experienced health complications due to his cirrhosis, which led him to be hospitalized repeatedly. Although he underwent a liver transplant in 2024, he eventually succumbed to a resistant bacteria that caused his death in February 2025.
