Cristhián Alan Guerrero Aguilar, a litigation lawyer, aims to restore citizens' trust in the judiciary and combat impunity and backlog in the trials in Nuevo León. According to Guerrero Aguilar, these are the two main problems in the administration of justice in Mexico.
By participating as a candidate for the position in the upcoming election on June 1, Guerrero Aguilar stated that he has the professional experience and capability to implement changes in the administration of justice. He expressed his commitment to being a judge with empathy towards the problems affecting society, especially towards the less fortunate, such as economically disadvantaged individuals, women, children, and the elderly.
Regarding the Mexican Judicial System, the candidate acknowledged that the main problem is citizens' distrust in it, which leads to high levels of impunity and corruption. This distrust causes people to avoid reporting crimes due to a lack of clarity and justice in the resolutions.
Guerrero Aguilar expressed his commitment to having open-door offices if elected as a judge in Criminal Matters, so that citizens can understand his work. He also promised to maintain a permanent dialogue with the community to explain the reasons for his decisions, whether they are condemnatory or withdrawals of charges. Transparency, professional experience, and a record in public positions at both state and federal levels are his pillars for seeking the citizens' vote.
In the upcoming election on the first Sunday of June, Guerrero Aguilar will appear on the ballot in pink with the number 19.
