The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, explained that in the recent letter addressed to the National Council of Morena, ten fundamental points were included. These points aim to strengthen the ethical principles and unity of the party in light of the new stage of government. Sheinbaum emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of the party against any allegations.
In her statements, Sheinbaum mentioned that the letter presented ten points that she had already outlined when presenting her license to Morena. One of the key points is the importance of unity. Furthermore, she highlighted the need for economic resources not to be a distinguishing element in the party's membership, but rather the opposite.
The president also stressed humility as the true power and emphasized the importance of maintaining honesty and integrity in politics, without falling into the trappings associated with past power. Likewise, she recalled the importance of Mexico's political history and pointed out the differences between Morena and the PRI in this regard.
