The Superior Audit Office of the Federation (ASF) appointed Martín Sánchez Arroyo as the new special auditor of Financial Compliance, who took office on May 1. His main mission will be to strengthen the quality of audits, prevent legal and financial risks, and consolidate the principles of transparency and accountability within the institution.

Martín Sánchez Arroyo is a professional with over 20 years of experience in the ASF, where he has led important auditing processes, including audits of entities such as the Senate of the Republic, the Chamber of Deputies, State Secretaries, and the Judiciary. Throughout his career, he has focused his efforts not only on correcting irregularities but also on preventing them, ensuring the efficient and legal use of public resources.

Within the ASF, Martín Sánchez Arroyo has directed strategic processes such as the supervision of comprehensive audits, inter-institutional coordination, and the implementation of the Quality Management System. Among his most notable achievements is the development of methodological guides for specific reviews and the successful transition to electronic audits through digital tools, which has improved the efficiency of auditing processes.
