President Sheinbaum Presents Book on Political Transition in Mexico

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum presented her book 'Diary of a Historical Transition', detailing key moments of Morena's internal process to select the presidential candidate in 2024. In the book, she addresses the tensions and disagreements during the period and clarifies that AMLO's legacy belongs to the Mexican people, not his family.

Shaynbaum's book, published by Mexico, presents his first book under the title 'Historical Transformation'. The book was released in production and is available in bookstores across the country. In it, he talks about the key moments in the internal political choice of the candidate for the presidential post in 2024, as well as the prospects for the future of the president of Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO).

Shaynbaum noted, however, that this is not his only son, Andres Lopez Beltan, who spent a long time in the political arena, holding official posts. 'With his own beginning, he did political work in his own office and never held any position in the party or government,' the president said. Therefore, when AMLO came out of politics, it was for the sake of public service.

Among the other books by Shaynbaum, he writes: 'Our opponents, who named Andres as the candidate with the highest pre-election consensus'. He describes the period 2024 as a difficult, full of discussions and contradictions. Then, in his opinion, the struggle between the so-called 'fourth transformation' (4T) began, where the author confirms that the legacy of AMLO is not his, but Mexico's. 'The legacy of the president belongs to all Mexicans - neither mine, nor his, nor yours, but to millions of people whose lives have changed,' he said in a text dated September 22, 2024, at the VII congress of the Morena party.

In addition, at a meeting in Mexico World Trade Center, new party leaders were elected: Luisa Maria Alcalde became the president, and Carolina Range Gracia - the general secretary. Andres Lopez Beltan also received a post as secretary of organization.

In general, Shaynbaum said, Mexico has been developing in the administrative direction of Donald Trump, regardless of the disagreements with Canada.

'Bold moments', the president admits, describing the internal contradictions within the party.
