President Sheinbaum Rejects UN Allegations on Forced Disappearances

The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced the launch of a critical program with the stated aim of addressing the pressing issues of insecurity, verification, and ensuring that the most pressing needs of the population are met through a direct and transparent relationship with organized crime, and not with the structures of the government. "To my knowledge, the best proposals have come from Mexico in the last 20, 30 years, and even in the 80s," she said, commenting on the historical context.

Sheinbaum emphasized that fundamental human rights require a political character: "Every right shall be exercised without the need for political, activist, or participating groups to be involved in the ranks of the law." She noted, however, that the new authorities will implement significant judicial reforms and work to improve the situation in this sphere.

"This change in laws, which we have introduced, and all the issues, fully addressed by this proposal, will be reflected in the documents," the president added. By her own admission, the Mexican store was not adequately prepared for this question and was forced to be recognized in the international community.

Claudia Sheinbaum also spoke about the cooperation with regional authorities: "We have received regional congresses with laws that have been passed in the states with federal norms, considering the established legal reforms, in order to protect all areas." She noted, however, that the common measures can help to reduce the number of tragic events and protect the rights of citizens.
