The Mexican government plans to request the extradition of businessman Víctor Álvarez Puga, who was detained in the United States. This was announced by the head of state, Claudia Sheinbaum. The Morena party fears that Álvarez Puga could criticize the Mexican political class, which would prevent his extradition and weaken the Greens' position in negotiations.
