The Secretary of Government of Nuevo León, Miguel Flores Serna, following the opening of the new LIBRE Center in Juárez, highlighted the importance of coordination among the different levels of government to guarantee the well-being of all women in Nuevo León and Mexico. 'Today, with the inauguration of this Center, we once again join hands between the Municipal Government, the State Government, and the Federal Government to continue working for women, promoting their empowerment and providing them with more tools to get ahead,' he declared. The event was also attended by Senator Waldo Fernández, the Secretary of Women for Nuevo León, Graciela Buchanan, as well as local and federal deputies, who agreed on the importance of continuing to build spaces for protection and development for women. 'We will continue to work for women, because when a woman feels safe and protected, Nuevo León continues to move forward,' he stated. During the event, Citlalli Hernández Mora, head of the Secretariat of Women for the Federal Government, recognized the work of the Government of Nuevo León in favor of girls, adult women, and senior women, as well as the importance of LIBRE Centers. 'From the Government of the State of Nuevo León, we will continue to fight and ensure that places like this exist in every corner of our state. I am very pleased that Secretary of Government Miguel Flores is here, as it shows the importance that the state government gives to actions in favor of women. With the collaboration of the municipalities, the local Congress, the federal Congress, the Senate, and the Federation, I am sure that we can bring these spaces to every corner of Mexico,' he noted. Flores Serna reiterated the state government's commitment to continue promoting public policies that strengthen female empowerment. 'When a woman experiences violence or is going through a difficult situation, she finds psychological and legal support here,' he expressed. In turn, the mayor of Juárez, Félix Arratia, highlighted that the opening of the LIBRE Center strengthens collaboration among the three levels of government to offer closer and more effective care to the women of the municipality.
