President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that the Plan Michoacán for Peace and Justice will launch with 12 axes of action and an investment of over 57 billion pesos, in addition to the social and infrastructure programs already in place in the state. She highlighted that the resources for the announced actions will come from savings and guaranteed that they will not be taken from other already committed programs, and reiterated that her government will focus on helping the population of that state that has lived through decades of violence.
