The company of Ricardo Salinas Pliego stated in an official communiqué: "Faced with a spurious court that violates human rights, we will continue to defend our causes before national and international instances."
The company explained that in the face of these rulings, it will appeal through other national and international channels, arguing that tax authorities are making double charges and "disproportionate fines."
The group accused this action of being "systematic political persecution against Mr. Salinas Pliego and the authoritarianism of the so-called Fourth Transformation," accusing the court of acting "as an office at the service of political power."
They also accuse that the "accordion ministers" did not analyze the legal merits of the case and were victims of political pressure, discarding a litigation process of over 12 years."
"Among this group of illegitimate ministers, there was not a single questioning of the script sent from the National Palace, thereby confirming their full submission to those who brought them to the court," they stated.
On the other hand, they indicated that they are asking the SAT to quantify the amount of our tax credits, in accordance with the law and its own rulings, without double and illegal charges.
"Its administrative silence and the delay of our processes only confirm the slogan and political motivation on the part of the federal government."
"This is not over yet!"
Grupo Elektra announced that it will appeal in international instances the recent ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) that dismissed its amparo, for which it will have to pay the SAT more than 33 billion pesos.
