Opposition in Nuevo León prepares a new impeachment against Governor Samuel García for allegedly violating Article 90 of the Constitution, which mandates the publication of approved decrees within 10 days. Deputy Armida Serrato stated that if García fails to publish the fiscal package, it would be grounds for impeachment.
Previously, Morena joined PRI and PAN to pressure García, but sources suggest Morena may not back this impeachment. The governor already faces 34 legal proceedings, including Supreme Court cases.
"If he violates the Constitution again, I will file for impeachment as Anti-Corruption Commission president," Serrato declared.
