The state attorney general, Víctor Antonio De Jesús Hernández, reported that the Los Cantaritos case remains in the intermediate hearing stage against those responsible for the multi-homicide that occurred on November 9, 2024. Almost a year and a half after the armed attack, which left 10 dead and 13 injured, the head of the judicial branch highlighted that the three presumed material authors are linked to the process and in preventive prison. The attorney general assured that the prosecution will do everything possible in legal terms to ensure the subjects receive a maximum sentence and remain in prison for the rest of their lives. "Given the responsibility and degree of violence they exercised against the families of Querétaro, we will not tolerate or allow those people to set foot on the street again," he stated. The prosecutor explained that the presumed intellectual author, identified as Francisco 'N' alias 'Alfa 1', remains under the protection of the Attorney General's Republic after his detention in March of last year, as he also faces charges for drug trafficking, organized crime, hydrocarbon theft, homicides, and kidnappings.
