Sheinbaum: IMSS Finances Remain Solid

President Claudia Sheinbaum affirmed that there is no impact on the finances of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), and maintained that the institute's economic situation remains solid. During her statements, the head of state pointed out that the increase in revenue from social security contributions, along with the rise in the minimum wage, has strengthened the institute's income. «There is really no impact, we can bring Zoe to explain how the IMSS finances are. Both the revenue that has been generated from social security payments by individuals and companies, and the increase in the minimum wage, are doing very well,» she responded to a direct question from Publimetro. When did IMSS revenue increase with apps? On the other hand, Sheinbaum highlighted that IMSS revenue has increased significantly in recent years, this is because delivery app drivers have been incorporated into the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS). Although she did not specify the percentage of growth, the head of government assured that this increase translates into the hiring of more doctors, the purchase of more medicines, as well as medical equipment. «How this translates into hiring more doctors, more medicines, medical equipment, and new hospitals, then the social security finances are doing very well,» she concluded.
