From the National Palace, she recalled that state governments often request recommendations from the federal government on profiles for local police chiefs. 'Sometimes states ask us for recommendations, and that's when we decide to create the Command School,' she detailed, based on principles of honesty, professionalism, humanism, and human rights. Therefore, she assured that with this strategy, the Government of Mexico will train the best police chiefs for the country's municipalities. How to enroll in the Command School? In his participation, the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuch, detailed that the training of future police commanders will be based on: investigation, intelligence, and social proximity. 'Here, the next Public Security Secretaries, undersecretaries, and commanders of different areas, such as police operations, investigation, intelligence, social proximity, as well as state and municipal commanders, will be trained, strengthening all security corporations in the country that require it,' he commented. According to official information, for now, elements from the Ministry of National Defense, Navy, Attorney General's Office, and the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection will participate. This course will last five weeks and begins on April 14, with a total of 34 elements participating.
