
Samuel García, Federal Public Security Secretary, reported that in the last two weeks, three arrests have been made of individuals related to violent acts. He emphasized that these achievements are the result of collaboration with Omar García Harfuch and the new security strategies based on intelligence and the timely capture of criminals.
Regarding the security strategy of President Claudia Sheinbaum, García expressed his confidence in her, highlighting that he feels supported by her work. Additionally, he emphasized the work of the Civil Force, mentioning the opening of 16 new detachments that have helped strengthen security in Nuevo León. According to him, security is a complex issue, but he believes the state is making significant efforts in collaboration with Harfuch and Sheinbaum to improve the situation.
García revealed that a drastic reduction in high-impact crimes is expected this month. According to him, a reduction of 30 to 40% is likely to be recorded. He highlighted his close relationship with Omar García Harfuch, with whom he collaborated while he was serving in Mexico City under Sheinbaum's administration. Together, they worked on intelligence sharing and strategies, and now, with García Harfuch as Federal Public Security Secretary, García is confident that significant progress will be made in security matters for Nuevo León.
