More than 50 presidents and chairpersons of Business Centers in Mexico supported Juan José Sierra Álvarez, who has officially registered as a candidate for the National Presidency of the Mexican Confederation of Employers (Coparmex). The election to select the new National President will take place on December 5 during the Confederation's General Assembly.
Juan José Sierra Álvarez, originally from Veracruz, is a Public Accountant specialized in Financial Auditing. He stands out for his participation in civil society organizations and in the business sector, where he recently held the position of National Vice President of Business Centers and Federations in Coparmex.
With a career focused on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Sierra Álvarez has been the president of various companies, such as Grupo Textil Veracruz and Hogares Calasanz. Additionally, he has actively participated in Coparmex, serving as a trainer for Ser Coparmex and holding managerial positions in the organization.
The businessman has expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to listen and collaborate with other members of the Confederation to enrich the work plan he is developing. He highlighted the importance of strengthening business leadership throughout the country and promoted unity within Coparmex, urging the defense of fundamental values for free enterprise and inclusive development.
The campaign period in Coparmex will extend until November 29. Sierra Álvarez has actively participated in various councils and civil society organizations, demonstrating his commitment to various causes and his extensive experience in the business and social fields.
