Security Crisis in Mexico: New Challenges

The Political Coordination Board in San Lázaro has established a deadline for all committees in the Chamber of Deputies to be integrated and start working immediately. On the other hand, the security situation in Mexico remains a concerning issue, and it is expected that the cabinet will report on it.

During her first visit to Morelos as the national leader of Morena, Luisa María Alcalde faced jeers from the party members. During the meeting, Ulises Bravo, the party delegate who acts as president in the state, was particularly criticized. Insecurity and violence in the country are issues that the official seeks to avoid.

Although the presidencies of the ordinary committees in the Chamber of Deputies have been appointed, a problem arises with their integration. Regarding the insecurity in Chiapas following the murder of priest Marcelo Pérez, the federal official has emphasized the importance of reaching an agreement.

Minister Juan Luis González Alcántara has questioned the idea that a person or group can represent the will of the people unanimously. This occurs amid internal tensions in Morena, where a partial renewal of the State Committee is announced.

Adjustments in the "morning address to the people" are expected beginning in November, as announced by President Claudia Sheinbaum. Political parties face internal difficulties in defining who will represent them in the most important committees, such as Budget, Finance, Justice, Governance, and Health.

On the other hand, the governor of Guanajuato, Libia García Muñoz Ledo, faced criticism during an informational assembly. The European Union has approved humanitarian aid of 200,000 euros for populations affected by Hurricane John on Mexico's west coast.

It is expected that UNICEF's management of this funding will help cover urgent needs, such as potable water services, sanitation, and hygiene, in the affected areas.
