Military Support for Climate Phenomena in Mexico

Elements of the Army, Air Force, and National Guard implement support plans for the population affected by climate phenomena in several Mexican states.

Elements of the Army, Air Force, and National Guard are carrying out the DN-III-E and GN-A plans to assist the population affected by the climatic phenomenon in six states of Mexico: Quintana Roo, Chiapas, Veracruz, Tabasco, Oaxaca, and Guerrero.

In Quintana Roo, the Army and Navy are providing assistance in street cleaning, drainage clearance, and medical attention. In Tabasco, evacuations from high-risk areas are being conducted and humanitarian aid has been delivered to affected individuals. In Veracruz, Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Guerrero, cleaning and debris removal operations are ongoing to restore normalcy as quickly as possible.

The armed forces remain deployed in the affected areas to provide assistance to those in need and ensure their safety. The Division General mentioned that they are working in coordination with local authorities and civil protection agencies to effectively assist the victims.

"We are committed to the well-being of the population and will continue to work tirelessly to provide all necessary support during these difficult times," stated the spokesperson of the National Defense Secretariat.
