The Full Senate of the Republic approved with 81 votes in favor and 36 against to declare inadmissible the order of Judge Nancy Juárez Salas to President Claudia Sheinbaum to remove the judicial reform from the Official Federal Gazette (DOF).
The legal advisor to the Presidency, Ernestina Godoy, sent a consultation to the Senate President regarding the request from the judge of the Ninth District Court in Veracruz, which required the removal of the judicial reform publication in the DOF.
During the session on Thursday, the President of the Board of Directors, Gerardo Fernández Noroña, announced the resolution arguing that it is impossible to comply with the judge's order, as the publication of constitutional changes is considered an "irrevocably completed" fact.
In a statement, Fernández Noroña expressed: "The Senate clearly establishes that the request made by the judge is declared inadmissible... to order the President of the Republic to remove the publication of the judicial reform from the DOF."
