Elements of the Blindar BJ 360° Strategy and the Secretariat of Citizen Security carried out the detention of an individual accused of robbing a bank customer in the Narvarte neighborhood, Benito Juárez mayoralty.
The detention occurred after a person reported being deprived of 10,000 pesos and a cellphone upon leaving a bank, being attacked by two armed men. After reporting the incident to 911, an agent from the Banking and Industrial Police provided support and managed to identify the suspects through the cameras of the C2 East and South Command and Control Center.
With the collaboration of elements from the Secretariat of Citizen Security, they managed to catch the suspects, who attempted to flee and ended up overturning the vehicle in which they were traveling in the Venustiano Carranza mayoralty. Despite trying to escape on foot, one of the individuals was captured and placed at the disposal of the capital's Attorney General's Office.
The Benito Juárez mayoralty, in collaboration with the SSC and the Attorney General's Office, reaffirms its commitment to protect citizens and combat crime, ensuring that no criminal act will be tolerated in the area.
