Luis Enrique Guzmán’s Paternity Case Faces New Developments

Last September, Luis Enrique Guzmán issued a statement denying being the biological father of Apolo, the son of his ex-partner Mayela Laguna. Although a blood link with the minor was ruled out, he affirmed in September that the child's family was caring for and loved him. According to him, Apolo was well taken care of and happy with his loved ones. Now, however, the situation could change due to possible inconsistencies in the DNA test. Alejandra Guzmán, Luis Enrique's sister, disinherited Apolo and Frida Sofía, but the singer requested that the child be treated as part of the family. Recently, the television program "De Primera Mano" reported alleged irregularities in the DNA test of Apolo and Luis Enrique Guzmán. According to Addis Tuñón, the show’s presenter, there would be issues in the chain of custody of the samples to determine paternity. It was mentioned that the judge might require further evidence upon seeing inconsistencies in the results provided by the experts. It was also noted that there were discrepancies in the statements of the experts. For now, neither Luis Enrique Guzmán nor Mayela Laguna have commented on these new developments in the paternity case of Apolo. The atmosphere remains uncertain regarding the possibility that the situation will be clarified in the near future.
