In the video, Crista Montes expressed her displeasure at Vega-Biestro's comments, feeling them to be an aggression and an unpleasant way to profit at the expense of a family problem. Montes stated that she would rather die of hunger than offend another woman as Vega-Biestro did.
Subsequently, Crista Montes confronted Joanna Vega-Biestro on "Sale el Sol", where the journalist took a defensive stance and reminded Gala Montes' mother that it was she who had made the problems with her daughter public.
