Several Ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) have submitted their resignations. Among them are Alfredo Gutiérrez Ortiz, Jorge Medina Pardo Rebolledo, and Ana Margarita Ríos Farjat. Through his account, Fernández Noroña confirmed the receipt of the resignations, stating that eight ministers of the SCJN have recently resigned.

Referring to Ministers Alberto Pérez Dayán and José Luis González Alcántara Carrancá, Fernández Noroña suggested that their decisions were at odds with those of their colleagues. He also announced that the swearing-in ceremony of the Legislative Power Evaluation Committee, scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed to October 31 at 12:00 PM.

In particular, Minister Ana Margarita Ríos Farjat submitted her resignation to the SCJN this Wednesday. She expressed her decision not to accept the monthly payment for retirement, stating that she will allocate those resources to vulnerable children. Ríos declared: "I will return that money to the Federation's Treasury calmly and without attachment if, before or after, I do not manage to crystallize a way to donate it entirely to girls and boys in vulnerable situations."

These resignations in the SCJN and the Senate of the Republic represent a significant moment in the judicial politics of the country and are expected to generate intense debate in the coming days.
