
According to a survey conducted by the Brazilian polling company Atlas and the Bloomberg agency, the President has a 66.7% approval rating, with 22.5% disapproval and 10.8% of respondents who do not know. Regarding management evaluation, 52.3% believe that the management is excellent, while 22% see it as average, 18.2% as very bad, and 7.5% do not know.
One of the highlighted aspects in the study is the level of social conflict and polarization. Expectations for the next 6 months show that 51% believe the situation will improve, while 23% think it will worsen. Among the main concerns of respondents are corruption with 56.9%, inflation with 36.8%, and insecurity, crime, and drug trafficking with 35.1%.
In relation to the perception of the country's situation, 44% opine that it is bad, 29% consider it good, and 27% see it as normal. In the survey, the former president gets a 65% approval rating, followed by Luis Donaldo Colosio with 40% and Marcelo Ebrard with 34%.
Regarding the elections in the United States, Joe Biden is the international leader with the best image at 51%, followed by Volodimir Zelensky with 29% and Javier Milei with 25%. Kamala Harris ranks fourth with a 22% approval rating, while Donald Trump has a 58% negative image.
In another aspect, the study reflects that nearly half of the respondents believe Mexico should have a closer relationship with the United States, and 40% think the government has too close a relationship with Venezuela. Regarding migration, there are divided opinions between those supporting more restrictive policies and those proposing more openness.
The survey also addresses opinions about the role of the state, where more than 60% agree that it is preferable to decrease government spending rather than increase taxes. Additionally, around half of the respondents believe that the state should not regulate prices and that all companies should be privatized.
In summary, the survey provides a broad view of the population's perception in various political and social aspects, highlighting the President's approval, the main concerns of citizens, and the expectations for the future of the country.
