The coordinator of the PAN Parliamentary Group, Guadalupe Murguía Gutiérrez, denounces irregularities in the selection of the Judicial Evaluation Committee, considering it a farce with ties to the ruling party.

PAN's Complaint about the Judicial Evaluation Committee

The senators of the National Action Party (PAN) who participated in the press conference led by Guadalupe Murguía Gutiérrez have pointed out several links that they consider problematic.

Ana Patricia Briseño Torres has been linked to the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Gutiérrez Luna, and his wife, Diana Karina Barreras, a deputy from the PT. Briseño was a substitute local deputy in the previous legislature in Sonora.

Maday Merino Damián has been identified as an unconditional supporter of the coordinator of the Morena senators, Adán Augusto López Hernández, since 2018 when she served as a councilor and president of the State Electoral and Citizen Participation Institute in Tabasco.

María Gabriela Sánchez García has been associated with Senator Enrique Insunza, linked to Governor Rubén Rocha of Sinaloa, while Maribel Concepción Méndez has been directly linked to the coordinator of Morena in the Chamber of Deputies, Deputy Monreal.

Andrés Norberto García Dávila, according to Senator Enrique Vargas, served as a representative in the Local Council of Tamaulipas for Morena. In response to these links, Murguía Gutiérrez has called on civil society to raise their voices.

She denounced that the selection of the Evaluation Committee of the Judicial Power is a "farce" and a "simulation" with clear ties to the officialdom, considering the process to be deceitful and misleading for the Mexican people. No PAN senator was called to the meeting of the board, and the swearing-in of the committee did not take place in the full Senate.
