Deputy Anylú Bendición Hernández was removed from her position as coordinator of the Morena bench in the Congress of Nuevo León, despite being considered a "key figure" in ending the legislative paralysis that lasted seven months in that institution. Mario Soto was appointed in her place, who assured that this decision was made for the benefit of the welfare state, Mexican humanism, and the principles of Morena.
According to Soto, this change was not influenced by Governor Samuel García or by Miguel Ángel Flores, coordinator of Movimiento Ciudadano, and he stated that it was a decision made by the Morena deputies themselves. He highlighted that they maintain an institutional relationship with all political forces and that as a party they are committed to confronting the McPrian and continuing to be the sensible voice in Congress.
For her part, Deputy Hernández left before the session, where her removal as coordinator was officially announced, concluded. Jesús Elizondo, local deputy from Guadalupe, expressed his dissatisfaction with the way the change was carried out, calling it a process conducted "in the dark" and without considering all the legislators in the bench. He proposed holding a public plenary where the nine legislators could present their ideas and vote transparently for the coordinators and vice-coordinators.
Although they recognize the role of Anylú Bendición Hernández in unblocking the legislative paralysis, the members of the Morena bench decided to remove her as coordinator in search of strengthening internal operability according to the principles of the 4T, advocating for causes in favor of the citizens of Nuevo León.
