The elected municipal presidents of the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico in the State of Mexico are seeking federal funding to meet their campaign commitments and develop impactful projects in their respective localities. Among the municipalities governed by the party are Tepetlixpa, Ecatzingo, Atlautla, Tenango del Aire, Temamatla, and Hueypoxtla, where projects for community well-being have been prioritized.

In a key meeting in the Chamber of Deputies, the mayors from the State of Mexico, led by José Alberto Couttolenc Buentello, who is also the leader of the PVEM parliamentary group in the state congress, presented their funding request to key figures such as Merylin Gómez Pozos, president of the Budget and Public Account Commission; Javier Herrera Borunda, president of the ASF Oversight Commission; and Eruviel Ávila Villegas, president of the Science and Technology Commission.

Couttolenc Buentello emphasized the importance of support from these commissions to ensure concrete results, stating: "If our mayors achieve good results, the party also wins, creating a virtuous circle for the State of Mexico." The federal PVEM group, led by Carlos Puente Salas and Raúl Bolaños Cacho Cué, recognized Couttolenc's leadership and supported the mayors' budgetary management, who hope to strengthen infrastructure and services in their municipalities.
