The businessman Antonio del Valle Ruiz launched criticisms in his speech of gratitude upon receiving an Honoris Causa doctorate from Anáhuac University. Del Valle pointed out that in the last 24 years he has not seen significant changes in the problems that afflict the country, such as corruption, the rule of law, and impunity.
In his remarks, the magnate questioned the administration of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, mentioning that although there was correct management of public finances in the last six years, the issues of the rule of law, impunity, and growing violence in the country were not resolved. He also highlighted that Mexico's economic growth has not exceeded 2% in recent years.
Del Valle emphasized the importance of the current government maintaining financial prudence and promoting an adequate economic project that fosters sustainable growth and contributes to poverty reduction. With these words, the businessman offered a critical analysis of the current situation in the country, positioning himself as a warning voice regarding the challenges Mexico faces today.
