Recently, the comedian 'El Borrego' Nava was accused by a colleague of not having paid him for performing at his wedding. In addition, a music band also claimed that the actor and comedian had not completed the agreed payment for playing at the same event, held on April 27 of this year.
In previous statements, Juan Carlos 'El Borrego' Nava responded to the allegations made by comedian David Vázquez, explaining that the show was given as a gift, as several celebrities attended the wedding and he thought it would be a good opportunity to get noticed.
In light of the new accusation from the involved band, the actor indicated that he finds the director of the group's claims absurd, mentioning that he made the agreed payments and that the request for an additional amount of 140 thousand pesos seems excessive, given the band's level of recognition.
In an interview for the television program "De primera mano", 'El Borrego' Nava addressed the accusations from both parties. Regarding the comedian, he highlighted that David Vázquez's claims arose from resentment, since by attending his wedding, he was forced to cancel an event that turned out to be successful.
The comedian suggests that both the comedian and the band are looking to increase their fame through controversy with him, which is why he has chosen not to give them further publicity to avoid fueling the controversy.
