The Mayor's Office of El Marqués Intensifies Closures of Businesses

The municipality of El Marqués, through the Municipal Inspection Directorate, is carrying out preventive actions to ensure the safety of citizens. In this regard, various inspections of bars and restaurants have been conducted since the beginning of the 2024-2027 administration.

José Luis Morales Ibarra, director of the Municipal Inspection of El Marqués, has highlighted the importance of businesses complying with the requirements established by law. In case of lacking the appropriate license for alcohol sales, 9 closures have been carried out at different establishments in the area.

Morales Ibarra has urged citizens to collaborate by reporting any illegal activities through the emergency number 9-1-1 or at the Citizen Attention Directorate. These reports are essential to identify and control the presence of underground businesses in the jurisdiction.

The closures executed have taken place in different areas such as Alfajayucan, El Colorado, La Pradera, and Zibatá. Additionally, further suspensions have been conducted as part of the preventive operations. These actions are carried out with the aim of maintaining order and ensuring safety in the locality.

It is crucial for establishments to comply with the current regulations, including obtaining the corresponding operating license for the sale of alcoholic beverages. This not only contributes to the safety of the jurisdiction, but also provides peace of mind to citizens by ensuring that businesses operate legally and safely.
